The six guest rooms are only available for Institute programs. They are no longer available for use by the greater campus community or outside visitors.
The guest quarters, located on the bottom floor in the East Wing of the University Centre, adjacent to the University Rose Garden, have six fully-equipped rooms for the use of Institute programs. All rooms have a queen-size bed and can accommodate up to two people. There is no provision for more than one bed in any room. Two adjecent rooms may be combined to a two-room suite via conjoined doors.
Amenities include full ensuite bathrooms, a phone with local calling and voicemail capabilities, cable television, and Internet access. In addition to wired network connections, wireless networking is available via a sponsored Campus-Wide Login (CWL), eduroam, or FatPort account.
All rooms are non-smoking. Check-out time is 12:00 pm. Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Stays are on a self-check-in and check-out basis; there is no concierge service.
Guest Room Rates
The room rate for those cases where charges apply is $90/night. All bookings are subject to the approval of the Director of the Institute.

Parking
Parking in the Rose Garden Parkade, adjacent to the Institute, is available at extra cost. Please contact Parking and Access Control Services (604) 822-6786 for more information.
Meals
Sage Bistro, on the main floor of the University Centre, offers breakfast and lunch service on weekdays. Koerner's Pub, operated by the UBC Graduate Student Society, is open Mondays to Saturdays, with the kitchen closing at 8pm. The Pendulum is the Alma Mater Society's only true sit down restaurant and includes vegetarian and vegan dishes. UBC Food Services provides meal services at various locations on campus. Mahoney & Sons is located on University Boulevard and Wesbrook Mall, and a number of restaurants can be found in the UBC Village. Other than Mahoney's most campus outlets are closed evenings and Sundays.
